Prayagraj & Vindhyachal Both are devotees sights for worship. Prayag Raj is known as Sangam Triveni where The three holiest rivers being together. Ganga, Jamuna, Saraswati. Triveni Sangam is a site of immense spiritual significance particularly during the Kumbh Mela where millions of pilgrims gather for ritualistic bathing.

Other site along with Prayag is Vindhyachal. Vindhyachal is the name of holy mountain known as ‘Vindhya Parvat’. Here the Goddess form of Maa Durga is worshiped. In Markandey Puran Durga Saptashati it is mentioned: 
 ||नन्दगोपगृहेजातायसोदागर्भसम्भवा
ततस्तेनाशयिष्यामिविन्ध्याचलनिवासिनी ||
It’s believed that Ma Vindhyavasini is the Goddess who appeared in the form of Ashtabhuja in Kansa’s prison after meditating. Nowadays she is worshipped as Vindhyavasini in Vindhyachal.
